Hotel Lux

What a lovely luxurious experience we had at The Lux. I didn’t want to leave. We were unfortunately only there for one night. The room was spotless. The bathroom was amazing with a large glass shower and a beautiful soaker tub which I unfortunately didn’t have time to enjoy. The little touches like the welcome card, local cheese and champagne as a small treat spoke volumes to the owners caring for their guests. Oh! And a Nespresso machine for fresh morning coffee. We have quite a lot of family in and around the Blyth area and will definitely be back to The Lux.

We had a fantastic weekend away at Hotel Lux last month. We stayed in Industry Hall and it was easily one of the nicest hotel rooms we’ve ever experienced - with a cozy, yet spacious feel, top quality furnishings and some treats from the owners to boot. While we enjoyed the quiet calm of Blyth during our stay, we also found loads to do - with dinner at Cowbell Brewing, breakfast at Pine Cafe, some shopping at Penny’s and The Old Mill, a wine tasting at Maelstrom Winery, a quick pint at Stone House Brewing, and a late lunch at Bad Apple Brewing Company to cap off our day. Would highly recommend booking your next escape from the city here!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I stayed at Hotel Lux in Blyth over Family Day weekend, and it was such a beautiful experience! The hotel was incredibly clean, warm, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The staff was friendly, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Blyth itself is a charming town, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and inviting place to stay!

Hotel Lux is the perfect destination for an authentic getaway. My partner and I were able to truly unwind, relax and recharge as we escaped the busyness of 'real life' this past January. The rooms are beautiful, providing all of the essentials. We enjoyed a wonderful bath, streamed a movie, drank wine and had a good night's sleep. The service is excellent and the communication is above and beyond. We strongly recommend that you make time to head to Blyth to stay at Hotel Lux!

This is our favourite hotel to go to with our family. We have celebrated many special occasions here. The rooms are well appointed and each one is different. The owners spare no expense with their attention to detail. Blyth is a charming small town with shops and restaurants, notably Cowbell Brewery. I highly recommend for any family or business trips, you will not be disappointed. We are headed there this July to celebrate my 65th birthday with the family.

My bridal party and I stayed in two rooms at Hotel Lux the night before my wedding! The staff were incredibly kind with helping me ensure we had everything we could possibly need for both the night and the morning of. They provided us tables to get hair and makeup done, had fridges for us to store our food, tea and coffee, as well as supplies for our champagne and mimosas. My husband and I also stayed the night of our wedding. Again, they had ensured the room was perfect and fresh for us and even had little treats waiting! The rooms were stunning and provided a perfect back drop for my wedding getting ready photos. My husband and I were so happy with everything and can’t wait to come back for years to come! I cannot recommend Hotel Lux enough.

We absolutely loves our stay at Hotel Lux! The rooms are beautiful and incredibly clean! My wife is very picky when it comes to cleanliness and she was amazed at the quality and attention to detail and was blown away by the cleanliness! The rooms are beautiful decorated and it is so clean that the owners take a lot of pride. Small things like a small bottle of wine and a sample of some locally made cheese with a handwritten note were a nice surprise. The contactless check in and out were super convenient as well! We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Lux and we will definitely be returning for another visit in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Lux! This was by far, the nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in. It had such a luxurious feel to it, but felt so homey and like it was our own space. Beautifully designed from top to bottom. Loved the bathroom and the amazing shower! The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the love seat and chair with the tall windows created a great space to just relax. Tv is nice and moves around so you can view it from any point in the room. Great little mini fridge with a little extra treat inside. The Nespresso machine was so nice and made a delicious cup of coffee in the morning. The clean/filtered water on tap was also a nice bonus. The surrounding area was so peaceful and quaint. Really nice walking trail close by, good dining at Cowbell Brewery and the Blyth Inn. Will definitely be back! My husband and I stayed at Hotel Lux after our wedding. The room was spacious and glamorously decorated. The bed was so comfortable!! We both slept great! I’m sure post wedding fatigue played a part in that as well but the room was so luxe and relaxing. The owners were so kind and generous as well. 10/10 great stay! Wish we had spent more than one night.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Lux for 5 days while I attended a hand embroidery retreat in a near by town. The hotel was perfect for my needs. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated and service excellent. I will definitely return and recommend to others.
